Not quite as dry as the desert, the savannah is a grassy place with little rain but plenty of prey. Rivers and lakes dot the landscape here, although it is devoid of any plant life taller than a large bush. The rolling hills and wide-open views provide some of the best sunrises and sunsets Reverie has to offer.

Blackthorn Ridge / El Bosque de Espinas

Journeying north a day's journey from the oasis will find travellers sureounded by tall dunes of sand where wind storms seasonally sweep the path away. There are sparse growths of thirsty trees dotting the highest points, and if one knows which trees to look out for, they can find their way to this secretive place. The ground is less sandy and more rocky, with bands of gravel and clay trapped by ancient trees that have seen better days. Between the stone henge-ways are corridors of shadow that lead to various hollows. There is no natural water source easily accessible here which forces creatures to travel from the ridge to the oasis frequently.
